HIGH POINT, N.C. – James Madison's 4x100-meter relay crew produced the second-best time of program history in 45.53 to wrap up the Dukes' time at High Point's VertKlasse Meeting on Saturday at Vert Stadium.

Alexys Taylor set at the Virginia Challenge in 2017.
After moving into eighth in the hammer throw yesterday with a mark of 45.74m (150-1),
Ryann Bennett went 12.90m (42-4) in the shot put – the ninth-best heave in school history.
How It Happened
- Mpassy also picked up silver in the 400-meter dash with a time of 54.18.
- Jordyn Henderson finished runner-up with a wind-aided time of 13.43 (+3.6) in the 100-meter hurdles.
- In the 200-meter dash, Putman produced a season-best 24.01 (+3.6) for third. The senior also finished the 100-meter dash in 11.64 (+2.3) for fourth.
- The 4x400-meter relay crew of Kam'Dyn Thomas, Esther Saint-Germain, Fuqua and Mpassy. Placed fourth in 3:48.25.
- Sofia Terenziani set a personal best in the 800 meters with a time of 2:14.75 for sixth.
