JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – James Madison women's tennis split a Florida doubleheader on Thursday, falling 4-3 to host-North Florida before winning 4-0 against Savannah State.
Freshman Jona Rokawent 4-0 on Thursday, picking up a pair of singles victories and adding two doubles victories against alongside junior Dylan Owens.
Owens went 2-0 on the day, adding a two-set shutout over Savannah State's Bria Burrows at No. 5 singles.
The Dukes are out to a 9-3 start this spring and have two more road matches before opening their home slate on Tuesday, March 21 against Hofstra.
