HARRISONBURG, Va. – James Madison men's tennis secured its sixth straight victory by overpowering Mount St. Mary's 6-1 on Saturday afternoon at Hillside Courts.
The Dukes (11-6, 2-1 CAA) swept the doubles point over the Mount (3-11) before winning the first six singles decisions.
Freshmen Paul Mendoza and Tate Steinour have won six straight singles matches, including their wins today. Mendoza was the first to finish with a two-set victory at No. 3 singles, and Steinour secured the final JMU point of the afternoon in a three-set tiebreak at No. 6 singles.
Senior Brett Moorheadwon his No. 4 singles match over Brandon Wortkotter in two sets, coming back from a 4-1 deficit in set one to win 7-6(3) before rolling 6-1 in set two.

The Dukes hit the road for the first time in two weeks and travel to Radford on Wednesday, April 5 for a 3 p.m. match. They will return home for their final home contest of the season on Friday, April 7 as JMU hosts College of Charleston for Senior Day.
