HARRISONBURG, Va. – James Madison Head Coach
Steve Secord announced the men's tennis program's fall tournament schedule, which includes five confirmed tournaments with the potential of individual invites to three other events.
The fall schedule kicks off Sept. 20-28 in Tulsa, Okla., with the ITA All-American Championships, should any JMU individuals be selected.
As a team, the Dukes will be in action together for the first time on Sept. 26-28 with Coastal Carolina's Battle at the Beach in Conway, S.C. The following week, JMU heads to Richmond for the annual River City Tennis Open on Oct. 3-5.
On Oct. 9-13, JMU travels west to Blacksburg to compete against the region's best at the ITA Atlantic Regional Championship. After a two-week layoff, the Dukes head to Winston-Salem, N.C., for the Wake Forest Invitational on Oct. 31 through Nov. 2.
Upon selection, JMU could compete at the ITA Conference Masters Championship in San Diego, Calif., or the ITA Sectional Championships in Chapel Hill, N.C., with both events taking place Nov. 6-9.
JMU is scheduled to conclude fall play at the Navy Fall Invitational in Annapolis, Md., on Nov. 7-9, unless any singles players or doubles tandems qualify for the NCAA Individual Championships in Orlando, Fla., which is set for Nov. 18-23.
JMU's dual-match schedule for the 2026 spring will be announced later in the fall.
