Secord Signs Transfer Gur Libal to Men’s Tennis Program

HARRISONBURG, Va. – James Madison Head Coach Steve Secord announced the addition of transfer Gur Libal to the men's tennis program for the 2025-26 season.

Libal will have three seasons of eligibility upon entering JMU after spending the 2024-25 year at Sacramento State.

"We're thrilled to add a player like Gur, who's competed high in the lineup at the Division I level. He's a great player, but from my interactions with him, he's an even better person," Secord said. "He's eager to work hard, buy into our process and get better every single day. I know Gur is going to improve and help make our team stronger as well. We're excited for what's ahead. Go Dukes!"

Libal joins Grant Kroodsma and Ryan Morgan, who signed with the program back in April.
