- Placed first, set school record, and qualified for ECACs in indoor shot put with a distance of 15.60 meters at the 2016 Thundering Herd Invite
- Broke her own JMU school record for indoor shot put at the 2016 Sykes & Sabock Challenge Cup with a distance of 16.21m
- Finished first in shot put at the Liberty Quad with a distance of 15.42m
- Earned the top spot at the Buckeye Tune-Up for indoor shot put with a throw of 16.46 meters, setting a new school record
- Placed first in the indoor shot put at the George Mason Last Chance meet with a throw of 16.22 meters
- Took first in the shot put at the ECAC Indoor Championships with a throw of 15.77m
- Was one of only two collegians to compete in the women's shot put at the 2016 USATF Indoor Championships in Portland, Ore.

- Finished sixth out of nine participants in the shot put at the Virginia Challenge with a distance of 15.37 meters, qualifying her for the ECAC outdoor championships
- Set a school record finishing first out of 15 athletes in the discus throw at the Virginia Challenge with a distance of 52.20 meters, also qualifying herself for the ECAC outdoor championships
- Placed first out of 22 competitors in the shot put at the Mason Spring Inviational with a distance of 14.90 meters, qualifying her for the ECAC outdoor championships
- Finished second out of 25 athletes in the discus throw at the Mason Spring Invitational with a distance of 48.95 meters, qualifying her for ECAC outdoor championships
- Placed first out of 15 competitors in the championship shot put at the Colonial Relays with a distance of 15.21 meters, which qualified her for the ECAC outdoor championships and also broke the JMU school record
- Finished first out of 14 competitors in the discus throw at the Colonial Relays with a distance of 49.89 meters, which qualified her for the ECAC outdoor championships and also broke the JMU school record
